Morning Joe senior contributor Mike Barnicle speaks with The New York Times’ political reporter Nicholas Confessore about why House Republicans decided to quickly drop their plan to gut the independent ethics office just a day after it had been agreed upon. “The key thing here is the word ‘ethics’,” says Barnicle. “Nick Confessore, you have done so well in covering the flow of money in politics.
