On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Mike Barnicle expresses his surprise, on both sides of the aisle, for the lack of effort in supporting an increased minimum wage: “You have a whole generation of people who live paycheck-to-paycheck and set nothing aside. Many of these people can’t even afford to dream. To dream the dream that you had… to dream the dream for their children, that they were going to do a bit better than they had. They can’t even dare to dream that dream because they are stuck with a stagnant base wage for 10, 15 years.” Watch the conversation here on the minimum wage debate.
